It Is Really Starting to Look Like Something

Spring 2026 Build Update

We have to be honest with you. There were moments over the past year where this all felt very far away. You dream about something for so long, and then when the reality of building it sets in, some days are harder than others.

But spring 2026 has been something special.

Walking the property these days feels completely different than it did even a few months ago. The buildings are standing. The chapel is up, cross and all, and every time we see it from across the property we have to stop and just take it in for a moment. That cross on top of the steeple is not just a design choice. It is a statement about who we are and why we built this place.

The reception hall is taking shape too. If you could stand inside it right now, you would understand why we are so excited. The ceiling is soaring. The windows are in. Natural light is pouring through and you can already feel what this room is going to be on a wedding night when it is full of people and music and celebration.

And then there is the pond.

We did not expect a construction site to produce a moment like the one in this photo, but that sunset reflecting off the water stopped us in our tracks. It was one of those reminders that God had a hand in this long before we ever picked up a shovel.

We still have work to do. The landscaping is coming, the interiors are next, and there is plenty of finish work ahead. But we are close. We can feel it.
